Skin-Boosting Trace Minerals Mocktail

Hi Friends! You’re going to be seeing a lot of little recipes for what I like to call “skin-boosting” foods scattered throughout the blog from now on. You guys know that I’m incredibly passionate about safer skincare, but I’m equally as passionate about skin health from the inside out.

Our first recipe is this Skin-Boosting Trace Minerals Cocktail that I shared on Instagram this summer. I love this drink because it increases water intake, helps my restless leg syndrome, my sleep, my anxiety, and my skin health. FULL OF BENEFITS!

Oftentimes we think that we need to drink gallons and gallons of water to stay hydrated, and while most of us could use an increase in overall water intake, you can make a big difference just by increasing the CO-FACTORS needed for your body to use the water and ferry it into your cells. I do this my adding Trace Mineral drops or Electrolyte tablets into my water!

Withou lt further ado, here’s how I make my Skin-Boosting Trace Minerals Mocktail!

  • I fill my cup up 3/4 of the way with topo Chico or regular water⁣

  • I top it off with pomegranate juice (usually just a splash for flavor)⁣

  • add 10-20 trace mineral drops (Start lower and work up to taste)⁣

  • a dash of pink Himalayan salt⁣

  • one half a lime, juiced⁣

Then I swirl it all together and go to town! Super simple, super effective, and tastes amazing!⁣ Tell me, have you tried the trace minerals yet?? Have you noticed any changes?!⁣
