Creamy Poppyseed Dressing

One of the BEST and easiest ways to add flavor to food is herbs, seasonings, and of course DRESSINGS. I am a sucker for a good sauce. I can legit just eat spoonfuls of dressing if it’s that good - and I really really like creamy ones, which was the catalyst for this Creamy Poppyseed Dressing coming to fruition!

If you haven’t noticed yet, I think the best thing about most of my recipes is that I would encourage you to PLAY. If you want more or less sweetener, adjust to your taste. If you like more tang, toss some vinegar in there! My hope is that with most of my recipes, you can grasp the basics of making something like dressing or ice cream and then use that base to create your own adventure in the kitchen. I think some of my best ideas have come from understanding the basics of cooking and then throwing in whatever ingredients I have on hand to create something yummy (thinking of that creamy pineapple curried chicken I made last night!).

This dressing is really really easy. You could probably make it in a mason jar, but sometimes oil based dressings are tricky - the slow drizzle/blend can really make a difference in a the texture of a dressing and if it stays incorporated or not - so if you can, I recommend using the food processor like listed!

I absolutely LOVE creamy poppyseed dressing on any salad, you can use it as a dip for things like chicken strips, or my personal fav way to use it is mixing it with sliced fresh peaches and throwing it over a typical garden salad for something extra special.  I hope you like it!
